Homestead, Florida City and the Redland are a different market from the rest of Miami-Dade — more land, more new construction, and more houses that changed hands through foreclosure. Cash buyers · 25+ years of combined experience · 1,000+ transactions.
Much of Homestead was rebuilt after Hurricane Andrew in 1992, and the city grew fast again in the 2000s. So the housing stock is a mix: a few pre-Andrew block homes in the older parts of town near Krome Avenue and downtown, a lot of 1990s rebuilds, and big 2000s subdivisions east of US-1 and toward the Turnpike.
It's also one of the last parts of Miami-Dade with real land. In the Redland and the agricultural areas west of Krome, parcels are larger, many homes are on wells and septic, and much of the area sits outside the county's Urban Development Boundary, which limits how densely it can be built. Inside the city, vacant infill lots are exactly what we look for for new construction.
Homestead is a long way from our base in Miami Lakes, but it's well inside the area we buy — we'll come out to see the property.
These ZIP codes cover all or part of Homestead. ZIP boundaries don't always follow city limits, and some are shared with neighboring cities.

| Selling to Prop Hunters | Listing with an agent | |
|---|---|---|
| Repairs & condition | Sold as-is. We account for the repairs in our offer, so you don't fix, clean out or stage anything. | Buyers and their lenders often ask for repairs or credits after the inspection and appraisal. |
| Showings | No open houses and no strangers walking through. The process is a private conversation. | Showings and open houses are a normal part of marketing a listed home. |
| Commissions & fees | No listing-agent commission when you sell directly to us. Closing costs depend on the contract, and we'll go through them with you. | Agent commissions are negotiable and vary by agreement, plus closing costs and any repair credits. |
| Buyer financing | Our offers are cash offers, so there is no buyer mortgage approval to fall through. | The sale can depend on the buyer's loan approval and the lender's appraisal. |
| Closing date | You choose a closing date that works for you. | Depends on the buyer's financing, inspection and appraisal timeline. |
| Price | Our offer reflects the house as it stands today, with repair and holding costs taken out. | A renovated, move-in-ready house can sometimes sell for more on the open market, but that takes time and money up front and is not guaranteed. |
| Best fit | Houses needing major work, and complicated situations such as probate, liens, tenants or code cases — or sellers who value privacy and certainty. | Move-in-ready houses, or sellers with the time and budget to prepare the house for market. |
If your Homestead house is in good shape and you are not in a hurry, listing with an agent may bring a higher price. Our offers make the most sense when condition, timing or a complicated situation makes a traditional sale hard.

Yes — that's what we do. We buy distressed Homestead houses as-is: major repairs, damage, violations, foreclosure, probate, bad tenants. We don't buy condos.
We estimate what the house would be worth fully repaired, based on recorded Miami-Dade sales of comparable nearby homes. Then we subtract what we expect repairs, holding costs and closing costs to be, and what we need to make the project worth taking on. We don't use a flat percentage, and we'll explain how we got to the number.
Tell us about it. We look at Redland acreage and homes case by case — zoning, well and septic, access and whether the parcel is inside or outside the Urban Development Boundary all affect what can be built. Inside Homestead and Florida City, infill lots for new construction are a core part of what we buy.
